While he was in the All-Dade County draft in his high school career, he did not storm into the limelight until he transferred to Mars Hill College in North Carolina. He later moved to Pittsburgh State University, where he became a gorilla enthusiast and the team’s record champion in touchdowns, yards, and receptions.

He had great potential and there was no doubt he would prove himself in the NFL, so the Arizona Cardinals called him in.
