Ivan Strinic is one of the key players in the Croatian national team and a preferred defender for the Italian club A.C. Milan, which he joined as a freelancer in July 2018 after playing a season for UC Sampdoria.
He was born on 17 July 1987 in the Croatian city of Split, formerly SFR Yugoslavia. Split is the second-largest city in Croatia and the largest city in the Dalmatia region (one of the four historical regions of Croatia).
