Timothy Duane Hardaway Jr. was born on March 16, 1992, in Miami, Florida, United States of America. His parents are Yolanda Adkins Hardaway and Tim Hardaway. His mother, Yolanda, was a domestic worker, while his father, Tim, was a professional basketball player during his active years on the court. For his high school education, Tim was enrolled at Palmer Trinity School but was later transferred to Miami Palmetto High School.
