Ryan Haywood is a multi-talented American voice actor who is also known as a presenter on camera, twitch streamer, games journalist, and YouTube/Internet personality.

He began as a pool cleaner and model but is now popular with Rooster Teeth because of his incredible work. He is the co-star of Rooster Teeth’s gameplay department Achievement Hunter and their news department.

According to some of his colleagues, after graduating from Georgia Tech University, Ryan went to Georgia Southern University (the degrees he earned from these institutions are not listed). He also studied abroad in England and earned degrees in theater and computer animation.

Career

After high school, Ryan worked as a model and appeared in several magazines. According to him, he worked as a male model for a magazine called Twist and also appeared on a catwalk show where he stood on a mushroom as a dwarf – this was his third job as he was also working at Rooster Teeth and as a pool cleaner at that time.

When he started working at Rooster Teeth Studios, Ryan had found an open position, applied, and got the offer. He was eventually transferred to Austin, Texas, where he still lives today.

In 2013 Ryan set up a Twitter account when Extra Life’s donation to Rooster Teeth reached $90,000 and he had 10,000 followers in the first 30 seconds and 50,399 in just 15 days.

Ryan has earned several nicknames in his professional career, besides “The Mad King” he is also known and addressed as “Iron Ryan”, “Ryan the Model Guy”, “The Vagabond”, “Rye Bread”, “SortaMaliciousGaming”, “Ryan the Gnome Guy”, “Ryan the [blank] Guy” and “BM Vagabond”.
