Early life and childhood
King Von was born on August 9, 1994, and was 27 years old when he passed away on November 6, 2020. His real birth name is Dayvon Daquan Bennett and his birthplace is Chicago. In addition to his stage name King Von, he was also known as Von and Grandson.
King Von spent most of his life in Parkway Gardens, also known as “O’Block”. It is located at the corner of 64th and Martin Luther King Drive on Chicago’s South Side. The rapper grew up being childhood friends with rapper Lil Durk and Chief Keef, who also lived in Parkway Gardens.

Legal troubles.
On November 21, 2012, King Von was arrested by police and booked into the Cook County Jail. The charge was unlawful possession of a firearm.
Then, on July 24, 2014, the rapper was arrested in connection with a May 2014 shooting. Several men were killed and two others were injured in the shooting. The rapper was charged with one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder.
The incident occurred in the 5700 block of South Lasalle Street in Englewood, Chicago. After witnesses failed to testify, authorities dropped all charges against King Von. Toward the end of 2017, King Von walked free.
