This professional quarterback has enough titles and recognition to match the number of medals won by an army veteran. Long before Deshaun Watson became a professional at the Houston Texans, the Georgian-born player played at Gainesville High School and then at Clemson University, where he was named ACC Offensive Player of the Year in 2015 and ACC Athlete of the Year in 2016.

Watson joined his new teammates at Clemson University in January 2014, where he retired wearing Steve Fuller’s jersey as number 4. He was back at the stand of starting quarterback Cole Stoudt.
