When Ojulari was a student at Marietta High School in Marietta, Georgia, he began playing football. As a senior, he has 118 tackles and 11 sacks on his resume, but an ACL injury forced him to redshirt his freshman season in Athens. Despite his poor record, he was a healthy player who committed to playing collegiate football at the University of Georgia.

He played two games in his first year at Georgia after fully healing from an ACL tear and then redshirted. He started 13 of the 14 games he played as a freshman in 2019, earning him the Defensive Most Improved (co-winner) and Leon Farmer Strength & Conditioning Awards. Azeez had 36 tackles and 5.5 sacks towards the end of the season. He led the team in tackles with 12.5 as a redshirt sophomore.

He returned to Georgia as a starter in 2020, earning Second-Team All-SEC honors and the defensive MVP of the 2021 Peach Bowl. Ojulari had some concerns about his ACL, and as the NFL draft approached, Azeez sent letters to all 32 clubs assuring them that his knee was in good shape. The New York Giants picked Ojulari in the second round, 50th overall, of the 2021 NFL Draft. Ojulari will play defensive end for the New York Giants in the upcoming season of the National Football League (NFL).
