Aubrey Christina Plaza was born on 26 June 1984 in Wilmington, Delaware. She was named after the single “Aubrey”, released in 1972 by the pop-rock band Bread. Her father is originally from Puerto Rico and her mother is half English and half Irish.
Her mother Bernadette is a lawyer and her father David Plaza worked as a financial consultant. She grew up with two younger sisters named Renee and Natalie. Her family was a very committed Roman Catholic family.
